Self-isolating battery modules
When one cell fails, a battery pack stops the whole machine. Ours keep going.
Each ModBatt module carries its own sensors and its own switch. On a fault it takes itself offline, and the rest of the pack carries the load.

Faulted module opens its own switch and goes offline. A hardware cutoff acts without software.
The problem
A conventional pack is one sealed unit. One fault strands the vessel or vehicle.
And every product line pays for its own pack program: design, test and qualify, every time. At tens to thousands of units a year, that cost lands on very few machines.

Four products, four pack programs. One contactor each: a fault opens it and everything it powers stops.

The same module at any scale. Designed to qualify once, so every program reuses the work. A fault isolates one module; the rest keep running.
The module range
Three sizes. Each stacks in series to double its voltage.
Six system voltages, from 48V to 800V, all built from one modular design.

First customers
Machines that cannot stop
They build tens to thousands of units a year: too few to fund a pack program of their own, and a fault must not strand them.
Unmanned vessels
Long missions with no crew to intervene. One faulted module cannot end the mission.
Defense and specialty vehicles
Low-volume platforms that need a qualified pack without funding a pack program.
Aircraft
Standardized modules for electric aviation, where losing the whole pack is not an option.
One module, every scale
The same module, from a small craft to the grid
Each application is sized in modules rather than designed as a new pack.
